The Coin

Written by W. T. Earley

In a post-WWIII dystopian world, China and her proxies reign supreme. Freedom is a distant memory. The CCP’s puppet regime, the Legacy, mercilessly controls what was the former continental United States.

Molon Labe resistance fighters combat for a return to American values, while Leon y Cordero – an underground Christian organization – sees its numbers begin to burgeon internationally. Population control is dictated by an implantable device tied to a unique Coin. The secrets of the Coin are understood by a limited few. The dangers associated with the Coin are extreme, hidden, and final.

After her husband dies under suspicious circumstances, Dr. Jeannie Garcia is unavoidably thrust into a world she never knew furtively coexisted alongside her stable, regime-privileged life. To save herself and her two young girls, Dr. Jeannie is forced to confront her husband’s secret double-life, the regime’s treachery, and her own unwitting complicity in it all.

What They’re Saying About The Coin

Reagan said, “Those who have known freedom, and then lost it, have never known it again.” In case you are tempted to believe that W.T. Earley’s dystopian world is pure fantasy, an examination of history will prove that folly. Look at all the damage our nation has suffered at the hands of the most unaccountable and incompetent regime in American history. Left unchecked, the woke mobs, progressive elites, and their tools of anarchy will eventually destroy the American experiment. The privileged “untouchables,” who greatly miscalculate their power, won’t decide how America will be remade — Communist China will. The Coin isn’t only a compelling thought piece. It’s a warning for every freedom-loving patriot!

The Coin is a poignant look at what all Americans and all the world should take to heart and be aware, as this is where our world is heading. A great novel brilliantly conceived, beautifully written, and smacks with the reality we all live in today. An excellent read.

—Larry LaHaye, son of the late Pastor Dr. Tim LaHaye, co-author of the Left Behind series

In a dystopian society where all power rests with the autocratic few, freedom is on life support. W.T. Earley answers the question: what may (or perhaps will) happen to our beloved country if China’s ruthless leaders, woke mobs, leftist media, and greedy technocrats are allowed to rule with impunity? Ronald Reagan’s iconic and prescient warning of the fragile nature of freedom comes to alarming life in the pages of The Coin. A must read, The Coin is a clarion call for free peoples the world over to stand against the rise of the left’s unapologetic lies and tyranny!

A Must Read

I had to keep reminding myself I was reading fiction. Wm T. Earley has such a grasp on what has happened to our country, what IS happening to our country and what COULD happen. Every single American who loves their freedom needs to buy this book and read it. Brilliant writing!

The Coin is a
"must" read

We are living during a pivotal point in the history. Will America’s democracy stand strong or will the forces of authoritarianism reign supreme? Whether you are on the right or left side of the aisle or somewhere in between, this is a sci-fi novel for you. In the tradition of the masters of this genre, Mr. Earley describes a possible vision of the not-too-distant future where the world is dominated by the interests of China and its allies. In the United States, now called the North American Province, we see the impact of this new world order on the lives of the elite and everyday people. In the true American tradition of liberty and independence, a small group of people try desperately to cling to their freedom and their lives in the wake of a totalitarian and merciless regime that institutes random purges to keep people living in fear and in line. One of the characters in the book, J. Edward Klein, shares a powerful quote: “When government fears the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government there is tyranny” and he pondered, “…how to go back to liberty once tyranny was well-ensconced?” That is the question that I hope we are never asking ourselves.

The character development is strong throughout the book leading the reader to really care about what happens to them and how the whole story will unfold. I appreciate the author providing a list of characters with a short description of who they are, it really helps to keep track of everyone. I don’t want to give away the meaning of “the Coin” but it is a cleaver twist on how technology can be used at first for a seemingly benign purpose but later used for depraved actions.

Let’s make sure this future never becomes a reality. Read this book, give it to your friends, start of book club, and question everything!

Excellent story whatever your politics

The Coin is a terrific story. Action-packed, thought-provoking, enjoyable even if, like me, you disagree with the political Right.

W.T. Earley delivers, literally, from the book’s opening scene. Each additional chapter uncovers more of the mystery of how the U.S.A. and the rest of the world evolved into a dystopia with new boundaries, new rules.

The characters, especially the strong female leads, are believable and compelling. The ending leaves you wondering – what’s next? I look forward to reading Earley’s next novel.

Fantastic read!

W. T. Earley’s first book is an outstanding read. The story brings you in from page one, and it is hard to know at times if this is a work of fiction or our future being played out. The characters are rich, relatable and vulnerable too. I could not put the book down. Highly recommend for those who love historical fiction or enjoy a engaging story with deep rooted characters. Outstanding book!

The Coin is a prophetic look at what could lie ahead for our country.

The Coin takes place in the future after World War Three. From the time I started the book till I finished, the world became that much closer to life portrayed in The Coin. Don’t miss this well written, edge of the seat, page turner.
